About This Course

This course presents continuing studies in the structure of organic molecules, with emphasis on biological applications. Topics include resonance, stereochemistry, conjugation and aromaticity; spectroscopy (NMR, IR and mass spectrometry); introduction to the effects of structure on physical and chemical properties; and survey of biomolecular structure. Transferable for UC credit.
Prerequisites
CHEM XL 14B General Chemistry for Life Scientists II.
