Mark Atteberry is an award-winning actor, photographer and director. He is also known as a master acting teacher and industry expert. Mark has made his living in the Entertainment Industry for over thirty years.
As a working actor, Mark’s feature film work ranges from blockbuster hits like David Fincher’s Gone Girl and Ang Lee’s The Hulk to indies like the multi-award winning Butterfly Circus and The Future. Some of Mark's television work includes Matlock, Lincoln Lawyer, Yellowstone, Dahmer, Bosch: Legacy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, American Horror Story, This Is Us, For The People (which put him in contention for an Emmy nomination), Grace and Frankie, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Black-ish, The Newsroom, Dexter, Rules of Engagement, Justified, 24 and many more. As photographer and director, Mark is known for his indie films, advertising campaigns and headshot work. His clients include NBC, CBS, A&E, Bravo, CAA, ICM, WME, Venice Magazine, Big Lots and many more. In 2005, Mark was chosen as "Best Headshot Photographer in LA” by BackStage Magazine. In 2010, he was honored by the Photography for Social Change Foundation as one of the “World’s Top 100 Documentary-Style Photographers.“
Mark is known as “LA’s Type Specialist” and teaches regularly on the topic of how to become a successful actor. He has co-written several books on the topic including "The Working Actor's Guide to LA" and "The Stunt Guide." Mark is the owner of Be A Working Actor Studios.
